Printers with ESI asset tag
Instructions for managing devices with ESI asset tags.
Western Tidewater IT department do not manage service related issues associated with printers with ESI asset tags. This means that malfunctioning issues, ink replacement and feeder/tray issues are all managed by ESI services. For all servicing needs Western Tidewater staff are encouraged to to call the Hampton Roads ESI service desk (757-497-8088) to have printer issues assessed properly.
Attached is an example asset tag that is normally seen on Western Tidewater printers.

For any mechanical issues involving printers, ESI will normally send a technician out to service the device.
Western Tidewater IT department will only resolve issues with not having access to printers.
All staff have to do is call the number and provide the ESI service desk with the Equipment ID number.
